Turn PDF tables into Excel or CSV

Open a PDF and it finds the tables inside, rebuilds them as rows and columns, and gives you a sheet to check and correct before you export. Nothing is uploaded — the whole conversion runs in this browser tab.

What you can convert

Bank statements
Months of transactions become rows you can total, filter and reconcile, without retyping a column of amounts.
Invoices and payslips
Line items and deductions come across as separate columns, one worksheet per page of the document.
Reports and research
Pull a table out of a published PDF and get on with the analysis in Excel, Numbers or Sheets.

Why convert a PDF in the browser

Most PDF to Excel converters work by uploading your file to a server, converting it there and mailing you a link. That is a copy of your bank statement on someone else's disk, under someone else's retention policy. This one is compiled to WebAssembly and runs inside the tab, so the PDF is read on your own device and never uploaded — there is no server to trust, nothing to delete afterwards, and no account to create. It keeps working with the network off.

It reads text based PDFs: the tables are rebuilt from the text already in the file, with the rows and columns worked out from the ruling lines and the alignment of the words. Scanned documents and tables saved as images have no text to read and are not supported. When a table is missed, or its edges are wrong, draw a box around it and convert again — the drawing tool exists because no detector gets every layout right.

Exports are XLSX, with one worksheet per page, or CSV. More detail is on the help page, and what we do and do not collect is in the privacy policy.
